Plant Operator / General Hand
Full Time Permanent
$35.42 to $37.14 per hour - depending on experience
Are you an energetic and self-motivated person wanting to fill the position of General Hand / Plant Operator with Council’s Works Department.
To be considered, you will need:
- Basic written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience operating various machines including tip trucks, loader, road roller or skid steer.
- Knowledge and use of road safety signs.
- A current “C” and “HR” class manual motor driver’s license - HC licence is highly desirable
Desirably you will also have:
- Basic Worksite Traffic Management
- White Card
- First Aid Certificate
In return the Shire is offering a remuneration package inclusive of:
- Cash component of $69,994.46 to $73,397.53 per annum ($34.4423 to $36.1645 per hour) depending on qualifications and experience.
- Industry Allowance of $74.48 per fortnight
- Superannuation of up to 15.5%
- 4 weeks Annual Leave per annum with 17.5% leave loading
- 2 x Recreational Days between Christmas Day & New Years Day
