If you can answer YES to the following questions, then nominate to sit on the Community Enterprise Advisory Group now!
- Are you keen to see ideas on the ground, not in a book/wish list?
- Do you want to see what is of interest to the people of Brookton, or even offer a few concepts yourself?
- Have you got some spare time each quarter?
- Do you like the idea of assisting the community to voice their ideas to the Council?
The Shire of Brookton has opened nominations until Wednesday 9th December, and are looking for six (6) motivated people to advise Council concerning current Book of Ideas applications.
Previously advisory group members have assisted the Council to benefit the Community in the following ways:
- Brookton Bike Track
- New Brookton Entry Signage
- Upgrade of the recreation precinct - in motion now
- Youth Group Facility - in planning
- Brookton Community Garden
- Men's Shed and Community Garden Facility - in planning
- Upgrade of the Brookton Caravan Park - commencing shortly
- Chalet Short-stay accommodation Units (disability access) - expected to start in the new year
