Available for inspection and public comment

Local government authorities are required to develop and implement a Disability Access and Inclusion Plan. The Shire of Brookton’s previous plan covered 2013-2018 and a draft plan has been developed for 2018-2023.

The purpose of a Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP) is to ensure that people with disability can access services, facilities, buildings and information provided by the Shire, its agents or contractors.

The draft plan was prepared after initial consultation with key stakeholders and selected community members and is now ready for broader community input.

Copies of the draft plan are available for download here and are also available on request in the following formats:

• From the Shire in paper, audio or electronic copy
• In word format by emailing mail@brookton.wa.gov.au

There is a feedback form available to make providing your feedback easier, however any format for returning your comments is accepted.  The feedback form can be downloaded here

Public comment period closes 4pm on Wednesday 24 January 2018

Any questions can be directed to Vicki Morris, Deputy Chief Executive Officer on (08) 9642 1106 or dceo@brookton.wa.gov.au
