Casual Machine Operator/Labourers for work up until 30th June 2018.

HR Drivers License and Loader experience are desirable. 

$24.50 to $33.00 per hour including casual loading depending on experience.

Intergrated Planning and Reporting Officer

The Shire of Brookton is seeking to appoint an Integrated Planning & Reporting Officer.

This is a specialist position that requires relevant tertiary qualifications and at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role.

 About the Role:

This is a fixed term 3 year full time contract position. You will be required:

  • To develop and deliver strategic and corporate plans and reports in line with Council’s integrated planning and reporting responsibilities.
  • To engage stakeholders in the delivery of integrated planning and reporting responsibilities, including the development and maintenance of strong working relationships across departmental boundaries.
  • To administer the Council’s ‘Innovations Pathway’ processes to effect sound planning, reporting, project management and continuous improvement.
  • To investigate and co-ordinate measures leading to possible external funding for listed opportunities.
  • To monitor and report on the performance of the integrated planning process for the Shire on a regular basis and to highlight actions, outcomes and achievements.

 The salary for this position is based on skills, experience and qualifications and will range from $63,000 to $65,000 p.a. (subject to negotiation) + 9.5% superannuation.

 About you:

In addition to holding relevant qualifications, you will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Sound understanding of complex technical issues and be able to write clear and concise reports
  • Demonstrated expertise in the development and production of corporate documents and reports
  • Demonstrated high level communication skills
  • Highly organised
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Highly developed investigative, analytical and problems solving skills
