The Shire of Brookton has on offer venues, facilities and equipment available for hire by the public. If you wish to make a booking, please contact us on (08) 9642 1106 or email mail@brookton.wa.gov.au.

General Rules:

• All venues and equipment must be booked in advance through the Shire of Brookton Administration Office. A booking confirmation form must be filled out and signed by the hirer. Forms are available for download here.
• All venues and equipment must be left tidy and undamaged after use.
• A deposit of $110.00 is payable for all venues and equipment in advance. This will be returned via cheque on the condition that the venue/equipment is clean and undamaged. Please refer to the Conditions of Use documents for each venue.

The following venues/facilities are available for hire:

Brookton Memorial Hall
The Brookton Memorial Hall is located opposite the Shire of Brookton Administration Office on White Street. It is available for hire for functions such as funerals, ceremonies, concerts, community group meetings, etc. Please click here for Conditions of Use - Memorial Hall
Fees
- Concerts, Weddings, Cabarets (Entire Building $188.80), (Main Hall $135.00), (Lesser $97.10)
- Exhibitions, Social Events, Wakes (Entire Building $110.00), (Main Hall $65.00), (Lesser $59.35)
- School Concerts, Religious Groups (Entire Building $75.50), (Main Hall $38.00), (Lesser $27.00)
- Rehearsals, Meetings, Set-up Fee (Entire Building $27.00), (Main Hall $16.20), (Lesser $16.20)
- Children's entertainment/tuition (Entire Building $27.00), (Main Hall $16.20), (Lesser $16.20)
- Adult Exercise Classes/Sporting Activities = $16.20 per half day.
- Kitchen Extra = $16.20 (included when hiring the entire hall)

WB Eva Pavilion
The WB Eva Pavilion is located on Brookton Hwy adjacent to the oval and the caravan park. It is available for hire for functions such as community group meetings, sports functions, parties, etc. There are also barbeque facilities on the premises. Fees
- Charges same as for entire building Memorial Hall fees (includes kitchen).







Recreation Ground Oval
Brookton town oval is located on Brookton Hwy. It is available for hire for sporting activities, exhibitions, shows, etc.
Fees
- Hire of oval per day (up to 24 hours) = $85.00
If you hire the oval, please take care with the grass and make sure all litter is cleared when you leave.
Hardcourts
Fees
- Hire of hardcourts per day = $45

The following equipment is available for hire:

• Sound Equipment
  A portable speaker and microphone set are available for hire by the local community from the Shire of Brookton Administration Office.
  Fees
  Half Day = $34, Day & Night = $56.50 A $110 bond applies which is refundable by cheque if the equipment is returned in good order.
  
• Santa Suit
  A santa suit is available from the administration office.
  Fees
  Per use (including dry cleaning) = $75

    Bond of $110

• Chairs and Trestle Tables
  Chairs are available from the pavilion and trestles are available from the memorial hall.
  Fees
  Chairs (each) = $1.10
  Trestle Tables (each) = $5.50
  Bond of $110
• Community Bus
  The community bus is kept at the Shire of Brookton Depot. It seats 23 adults or 30 children including a driver. Please click here for more information
  Fees
  Bus hire is $1.50 per km (minimum charge $50.00).
  Trailer hire = $33.00
  Bond is $330.00

We would like to remind all drivers of the Community Bus that they are required by law to hold an appropriate driver’s licence.
The Department for Planning and Infrastructure advises that persons driving vehicles equipped to seat more than 12 adults must hold a heavy vehicle licence, class  LR (light rigid).
Furthermore, drivers who operate the bus during work hours as part of their employment or those who receive payment or other reward for their driving services, are also required to have an ‘F’ Endorsement of their licence.
However if you are a volunteer, or drive the vehicle for a sporting/community group and receive no reward for transporting the passengers, you do not need an ‘F’ endorsement on your licence.
The Brookton Shire Community Bus has a seating capacity of 21 passengers and therefore all persons who drive the bus must hold and produce a valid LR licence (with ‘F’ endorsement if required) to shire staff at the time of hire or at the time of key collection.
