The history of Brookton, from the mid 1800s to late 1900s, was written by Athol Thomas and published by the Shire of Brookton in 1999 as part of Brookton’s Centenary Celebrations.

Copies of the book are available from the Shire Administration Centre, 14 White Street, Brookton at a cost of $10.00 each. For mail copies please add $5 postage and handling costs.
